THE IMMORTAL LEE COUNTY KILLERS

Another band I've met on John Peel's programs, a few years ago, the Immortal Lee County Killers, the true holders of the Southern faith, an atitude and a sound that recovers a devilish blues rock and most of the time, possessed by the daemon himself. A tradition lost some time ago. Genuine, and why not, pure souls, in their interpretation of the root of the true South, meaning unconformist, and non-conformed, rebel ,and that certainly is looking for trouble.
With formations varying since the begining, the number of musicians oscillating between two and three, therefore the designations of ILCK II, ILCK III, and now as it seems the Immortal Lee County Killers OS.1 III. Hu...? Now, an operative system?
With keyboards, without keyboards, two (three) speedy cats who break reccords. Directly from the producer, from the deep fields of Alabama, a voice thought lost for long, the one of the delta's blues. A night in jail assured.

Mais uma banda que conhecí nos programas do John Peel, uns anitos atrás, os Immortal Lee County Killers, derradeiros detentores da gana sulista, uma atitude e um som que recupera um blues rock endiabrado e muitas vezes possesso pelo próprio demónio. Uma tradição que se perdeu há já uns tempos. Genuínos, e porque não, almas puras, na sua aproximação da raíz do verdadeiro Sul no sentido de inconformista, inconformado, rebelde, e que de certeza deve querer problemas com terceiros.
